Which type of pool is best? The least expensive?
Each type of pool offers its own unique set of pros and cons, however all three types can provide you and your loved ones with enjoyment for years to come. Vinyl pools can be built in all kinds of styles and shapes, and are typically the least expensive option. There are many liner patterns and colors available, which gives you the ability to customize your vinyl pool and truly make it your own. Vinyl liners usually withstand 10 to 12 years of use before they need to be replaced, depending on how well they are maintained.Fiberglass pools are the middle of the road as far as costs go. Initially, they may be a little more expensive than vinyl pools, but the durable structure of the fiberglass shell typically means you won’t have to worry about too many repair costs. Unlike vinyl liners, fiberglass pools are made to last a lifetime with proper care and maintenance. Gunite pools may be the most expensive option, but they offer the most customization for your backyard. Gunite pools can be built in virtually any size and shape imaginable. In some cases, a gunite pool would be the only option for building a pool in a challenging backyard.

How does installing a pool affect the resale value of my home?
When it is time to sell your home, the value of your pool comes down to three things: the geographic location of your home, what type of pool you have, and the quality of your pool relative to the overall quality of your home. When a pool is in good condition and it is properly presented, it can greatly increase the value of your home.

Unless you live in the county, you will have to put a fence around the pool. We recommend all pool owners install fences around their pools, regardless of where they live. It is the best and safest way to keep out unexpected visitors. City ordinance requires pool fences to be at least four feet tall. We have a contractor who can help with this. All new pools must also have pool and door alarms installed. Any new pool without these items will not pass a final inspection. We have all of the resources necessary to assist with this process.
