Description

BioGuard Arctic Blue Winter Kit will help protect your pool water against staining, algae growth, bacteria and all other threats throughout the long winter months, eliminating much of the work from spring openings. Its formula is compatible with most common sanitizing systems and will drastically cut the amount needed to treat your pool next season, saving you money.

Directions

Arctic Blue Shock:

  1. Broadcast the entire dosage into the deep end of the pool.
  2. Brush any undissolved product off the surface of the pool with a compatible brush.
  3. Continue to circulate the pool for a minimum of 30 minutes before proceeding to the next step in the winterization process

It is recommended that as part of the closing procedures, a quality winterizing algaecide be applied following the application of this product.

For mesh covered or non-covered pools, a mid-winter treatment may be required using an appropriate BioGuard sanitizer.

Arctic Blue Algae Protector:

Prior to application:

Test your pool water and follow directions to properly balance your water for conditions in your area. If metals testing indicate a need to use a stain and scale inhibitor, apply that product per label directions. Allow the pool to circulate at least 1 hour before adding other products.

Application

Add the appropriate amount of winter shock according to label directions of the product. Allow to circulate 2-4 hours. Then pour Arctic Blue Algae Protector into the pool around the edges with the pool circulation system operation. Circulate pool water for 1 hour. Then, clean filter and pool walls at water line.

In areas with severe freezing, drain pool equipment and plumbing lines or use an antifreeze recommended for swimming pool plumbing and equipment.
